RJ had his first birthday!  He loved the ribbon on his packages and shoved his cupcake into his mouth with delight.  Hayley helped open presents, we all helped blow out his candle.  We had a ball themed birthday party which was a big success.

RJ started walking right around his birthday!  He is very intent on mastering this new means of mobility and doesn’t fuss when he falls down.  Hayley finished her ballet classes and had a mini recital.  She was the youngest in the class and reported to have a better attention span when all the parents were not in the room.  Check out the video - Hayley's first ballet performance

Hayley, RJ and I went to San Diego!  Aunt Linda and Uncle Doug’s pool party and BBQ was a lot of fun, we went swimming daily and played at the beach with Elyse, Sonoma and Alson.  Hayley and I had a great time exploring Sea World.  I was able to go out to dinner with old friends while grandma babysat the kids!  We missed Chris and the dogs and are happy to be home.
