Hayley continues to cruise around furniture, along walls and while holding on to our hands. It won’t be long before she is walking! She enjoys placing her toys in and out of boxes, reading stories, feeding herself and playing with the dogs. Hayley just started clapping with excitement and “shares” by handing items to us or the dogs, expecting to get it right back again. Hayley has a bit of separation anxiety and stranger anxiety, typical for her age.
This month we joined the Oakland Zoo, making it easy to go for short visit. Hayley likes the giraffes and elephants best.
For Thanksgiving, we flew to New York and had a great visit with the Schoenemans, Wysokowkis and Marwoods! Hayley did great on the flights and adjusted to the time difference quickly. We checked out the playground in Port Jefferson, the Setauket library and the Stony Brook duck pond. Hayley ate turkey, beans, swede (turnips) and pop-overs on Thanksgiving day.
This month Hayley got her first 4 teeth, all at once (two upper and lower incisors).
