Our baby is 6 months old!  She is growing so fast! 

Hayley sits up on her own now, tries to army crawl and likes “walking” while holding on to our hands (especially to chase Cooper).  Hayley loves touching everything and focuses intensely on our dogs.  She enjoys story time and playing in her exersaucer.  Hayley is eating well, too.  We mix fruits and veggies into her cereal and we get no complaints.  She’s using a sippy cup (with our help) and happily gums and sucks on fruit in a mesh baby feeder.

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa Weaver in August.  We all went to the farmer’s market, Costco, Little Farm and for multiple walks around the neighborhood.  Grandma and Grandpa did some babysitting as well (thanks!!).

This past Friday Hayley had her first day with Amy, our new nanny!  They had a great day together.  I’m working a bit more in September so they’ll get to spend a lot of time together.  The long term goal is for me to work 2 or 3 days a week (including Saturdays) so that one of us is home with Hayley most of the time.

Hayley just had her 6 month pediatrician appointment and weighs 17 lbs 13 oz (75th percentile), is 27 inches long (90th percentile) and her head is 43cm (>97th percentile).
