It’s hard to believe that Hayley is already 2 years old!  We had another fun month of bus rides, train rides, making Valentine’s Day cards, going to the zoo and settling in a preschool.  We celebrated both Hayley’s and Uncle Jeff’s birthday this past Sunday, with Grandma and Grandpa Weaver and Aunt Kelby.  Hayley “gets” presents now and opens them at top speed, ready for more.

This month’s favorites - Thomas the train, the nursery rhyme “Jack and Jill went up the hill”, ice cream, wearing sunglasses everywhere (and all day at preschool), building houses from blocks or legos and climbing everything.

Hayley is very sweet and agreeable if she gets to make her owner choices and do things for herself.  She wants to be independent and grown up.  At times she plays very nicely on her own, other times she wants mom and dad to join in.  Like any 2 year old, she pushes her boundaries and has occasional emotional outbursts about unpredictable things.  We are regularly impressed by how much information she retains and the concepts she grasps on her own.  She’s a cutie pie!
