This month Hayley is getting better at walking, she still likes to hold one of our hands when she’s insecure.  Hayley started using baby sign language “more”, “all-done” and her favorite, “hat”.  She can correctly identify something in her book, like when asked “Which one is the brown bear?” she reaches out and touches the bear.  She appears to understand a lot of what we are saying.  It’s cute to see her focus and learn.  She continues to explore the house and prefers pulling everything out of the cupboards over playing with her toys.

Hayley and I flew to San Diego for my cousin Dawn’s baby shower and Grandma’s birthday.  In addition to extended family we saw Courtney, Megan and baby Mazey and Elyse and baby Sonoma.  It was a very nice trip!

Hayley started taking swim lessons at the YMCA this month.  She is a good splasher and kicker.  We are still working on blowing bubbles.  It’s a lot of fun!
